In my brief vacation in Salzburg-Austria I found this Cafe that had these amazing portraits hung up. I was deeply impressed to see how the artist played with the negative space of the face's shadows with vibrant uncommon colours for the human skin. I believe that in a portrait, the eyes are the positive and focus point, as it represents the soul of the whole painting. I believe that the artist managed to keep the soul intact while everything was still held in a harmonious balance.

Signs - Camera View.
I can say easily that the movie was interesting as a whole. The camera movement was dynamic just at the right moments. The close ups made the suspense come out just right while you are not able to see around. It leaves you focused on the actor's emotion and unable to look around and get that sense of ease and relief that you are waiting for. I believe that the lack of sound and leaving the camera stationary was good, to let you feel that weight on your breathing, expecting something is about to happen, which sometimes nothing does. The eagle eye's view movement at some points was quite good in my opinion as it makes you feel how small and fragile we really are considering the main context of the story. The camera was placed in corners at some points of the movie as well and not always stationary.
A side note: I really did not like some of the acting at many points as I could not feel the connection between the actor and the part that had to be delivered.
